Agricultural Statistic Division, under Food and Agricultural Marketing Service established in the year 2029 and Agricultural Statistic Division, under Agricultural Ministry were carrying out the responsibility of annual data collection, refinement, evaluation, projection and publication of the agricultural informations separately. After the establishment of Agricultural Department in the year 2049, Agribusiness Promotion and Statistics Division has been carrying out the responsibility of annual data collection, edition, refinement, evaluation, projection and publication of the required agricultural information with an objective to unite both the Statistic Divisions beneath single roof. Additionally, from the fiscal year 2056/057, this division has accelerated the geographic agricultural information development system. Apart from these, Agribusiness Promotion and Statistics Division was made responsive for Agribusiness Promotion and Agribusiness Promotion Program, which was previously done under the planning division, as the result of change in the organizational structure by the decision of HMG/N in 2057/03/26 with the establishment of Agribusiness Promotion and Statistics Division in 2057/06/16. |
